Your life will be boring if you don't dare to try something new in your life.

Okay. today I want to tell you about my dilemma before I go to Thailand to practice my teaching, let me introduce myself first. I am Muhamad Iqbal, I was born in Bogor Regency, Wanaherang Village, Gunung Putri Subdistrict, Born on April 14, 1998. I am a Student of the Faculty of Education Counseling Guidance at the Education University of Ganesha known as the 2015 UNDIKSHA school in comfort in my area. I was a student who went to college just came to campus and then listened to the lecturer’s explaination, then finished and going home. A few days later, I got information from the department that there was a Student Acceptance who wanted PPL overseas, now I tried to enroll in the department but the participant quota was full, I was a little sad to hear that the registration quota was full, but I didn't just keep quiet trying to find information in the department whether there was a friend of mine who canceled the PPL-LN, it turned out that I got good info that my friend had resigned from the selection of the PPL-LN, I was moving quickly to take care of the Department then directed to went to LP3M to meet Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ngurah. Marhaeni, M.A. I also spoke with him that I was very serious about joining the Program from this campus, PPL-LN. After a few days I was told that I was accepted to join this Program, after I heard news like this I was very happy with myself that the process will not betray the results.
Eeaatt not only there, I also have a higher dilemma, that is before leaving I think about what to do there, on the one hand I want to have this experience but on the one hand I cannot speak English and my teaching in science is not very broad about education . yeah, it's just because of college
just came to hear the lecturer explain the right ear out of my left ear, here I asked myself if I could afford to take this program but I already excited to take part in this program. I also asked my father's mother, am I eligible to join this program, sir? My father and mother answered that you deserve to take part in this PPL-LN program, not only people who are smart can take part in this program, you are very passionate about joining this program, so do as much as you can, you are sure you can do this well.
It was there that I was even more enthusiastic about running this program, a month before my departure I attended tutoring at the 2nd floor of the Puskom where I studied well so that I could speak English well and correctly, not only in language that became a problem in this activity. I asked my parents if there was money to go to implement this PPL-LN? He said, "Be my child who is brave, take risks because nothing can replace experience. Experience is more expensive than money, my problems are not fluent in English, continue to learn and practice speaking English with others or in front of the glass it is very useful for you in the future. My father gave me motivational words, namely "The only life that will lead to success is Experience" so take this great opportunity to experience your life in the future.
I remember that people say "Experience is the best teacher" and I've proven it. When I was doing PPL-LN in Thailand for 1 month there were many things that I got from teaching practices that my friends in Indonesia could not get, such as meeting new people, new friends, new cultures, new experiences, new international partnerships, and many again that I can't mention one by one.
I just want to remind you whoever reads my blog posts, Your life will be boring if you don't dare to try something new in your life.

Summary and Suggestion for Teaching Practicum Program

1.1 Purpose of Practice The implementation of PPL – LN aims to provide concrete guidelines for carrying out tasks as teachers through differences in other countries. Future teachers who take part in this program are expected to have professionalism as educators later. I am an education counseling student at Ganesha University of Education, carrying out the practice of teaching in class directly. In addition, this activity gave a positive impact for me to teach in the future, because through this activity I know the mechanism of the learning process that happened at school. My goal in choosing PPL-LN rather than doing PPL in Indonesia to find out the culture that exists in foreign countries Especially Thailand, not only knowing but I feel the cultures that are there are certainly different from Indonesia, one example is the difference in teaching culture in Thailand especially at PSU. Wittayanusorn Suratthani School in this school is how to give the learning process, namely s...

A Little Story About Life In Thailand

"Sawadee Krab..."  That’s how Thai students greet each other. Unlike in Indonesia, if we meet other people, we will say “Good morning / afternoon / evening / night” depending on the time. Meanwhile, in Thailand, people often say the Sawadee Krab (for boys) / Ka (for girls) to say good morning, afternoon or night. So, every time I meet my students, no matter if it’s morning or evening they will say to the Sawadee Krab / Ka. By the way, on this good occasion, I would like to tell you about my experience during teaching practice in Thailand. Yes, I teach counseling subjects as a discipline for students. This counseling if in Thailand the name of the lesson is guidance activity where the counseling teacher provides an activity that can develop the talents of the student. every week the guidance / counseling teacher has a teaching time of 5 hours a week as I did in my teaching practice at a Thai school called Pong at the Songkla Wittayanusorn Surathani School in Surat Thani pr...
